[2017 CSA Week 11]
The bees are a buzz around the farm, loaded with pollen from various flowers. CSA member, Mike, tends a hive here. One day, when the kiddos have become more independent, I would love to learn more about the process. For now, I am thankful he is willing to care for these valuable insects. I have noticed that the honey bees, along with the many other pollinators found in the fields, have really made a difference in our crops and I like to think we have made a difference in the population of these good guys of the world.
This is the last week for PYO blueberries. It was a good run and we hope you enjoyed the fruit.
Our CSA members Scott and Renee VanDyne live here in Hopkinton and have grass fed beef available for sale. If anyone is interested, you can email them.
This week's share...
