New veggies this week and blueberry picking update.

[2017 CSA Week 6]

A few new veggies are starting to come in at the farm. We have had our first new potatoes for dinner this week. They were fantastic boiled and simply topped with some butter, salt and pepper. I attached a pic of Dan and Maggie digging for spuds and worms. I love her enthusiasm for farm related things these days. Today she "helped" pick some peas and made homes for bugs and beetles in the weeds and soil. Smaller amounts of snap peas, carrots, beets and swiss chard are coming in too. They will be an option for you. I hope you enjoy!

Many folks have been inquiring about the blueberry availability at Russell's. The berries are just starting to turn. We will be opening for PYO this weekend (see the hours listed below). If for some reason, the berries aren't ready, I will post an update on our Facebook Page. Just search for Work Song Farm.
