Good things come in small packages.

[2016 CSA Week 2]

Your CSA shares may be small this week, but they sure will be sweet. Strawberries and cucumbers are starting to come in, and we can't be more excited! Sweet, juicy, refreshing. Nature's Candy.

Question is... will they make it home?

*Please note, your strawberries won't keep too long, best to come pick up that CSA share and not let it linger in our barn.

This Week's Share:

  • Strawberries: Free of any spray! The rain and cold may have caused some to develop a little on the funny looking side, but who didn't have an awkward looking phase in their life? If they are split, take a peak inside to make sure no bug friends got in there, like I said they are spray free.
  • Cucumbers
  • Lettuce/Salad Greens
  • Herbs: We will add cilantro to the herb choice this week and dill should be on it's way shortly.
  • Radish/Hakurei Turnips: Hakurei turnips are a salad turnip; tender and mild compared to the fall roots you find. They are great fresh, pickled or lightly sauteed.
